SP: May Hotbuys Review.

Hey everyone.
I just had to write about the new Hotbuys; I'm going to buy most items, as I think this is my favourite Hotbuys collection yet!
1. The Balmain Jacket - Oh my Gosh. This is the Stardoll item of my dreams; Balmain is phenomenal, I drool over their items. And this jacket is just...Wow. I love the unusual shoulders, and the colour choice of black and silver. Some may say that this jacket is somewhat gothic, but I completely disagree. I'll be buying this the minute it's released - although I'm guessing it'll sell for something like 14 stardollars.
2. The Grey 'Sequin' Dress - I actually really like this; I'm not really in to Matthew Williamson, but I'm loving this dress. It's very glamourous. I can picture myself going out to a party in it, teamed with some black tights, strappy black heels and some diamond earrings. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the sleeves [go to the Hotbuys Spring 09 dress-up to see them], as they are sort of more T-shirt-like, and I would prefer thin straps.
3. The Pink Hotbuys Bow - This Miu Miu bow would make me feel sort of regal. I like the colour, the pale pink is classy. The diamond in the middle, or diamante, whatever, is lovely, but I think Stardoll could've made it look a little more like the real bow. I might buy it.
4. The Jewelled Cuff - A lot of people have been saying that they find this 'tacky' and 'cheap-looking', but I'm going to disagree with them. It's bright, it's unique. I probably won't be buying it, but some people will. In my opinion, nothing's wrong with it.
5. Blue Zipper Bag - I'm not really keen on this. The colour puts me off I think, a bit too bold and eye-catching for my liking. The zippers are okay, but there's an awful lot.
6. The Bathing Suit - I'm not sure about this. The style is amazing, I'll give it that. The neckline is great, and it's really well made. It can also be worn as a top, too, I think, teamed with a pair of shorts? I'm not liking the colour pink, but the black's nice with it.
7. Luella Dress - I'm in love with Luella, so I'm super excited for when this dress is released. Everything about it's perfect. The style, the colours...Although Stardoll has changed it from the real-life version; They've made it baggier, and in different colours. But I'm not fussed.
8. Pink and Silver Dress - Hmm. At first, when I glanced at this, I really liked it, but I've changed my mind. The colours are too sugary-sweet for me, too 'prissy', and the dress is too long. The pattern isn't the best. I may buy this if I change my mind, haha.
9. Stella McCartney shorts - Wow, I love these, even though I don't like shorts much. They're very sophisticated, a nice colour, nicely made.
10. Blue Wedges - I adore these. The colour's not bad, the straps are perfect and the wedges are just great. I'd prefer them in a different colour, though, something more simple, like white or black.

SP: Oh. My. Gosh.

Hey everyone -
I found out recently that Chinese Stardoll [stardoll.tom.com] has released gorgeous Louis Vuitton bags in the Starplaza; Obviously, I'm excited - everyone is. I love LV! Only, there's a few hitches that are incredibly irritating. Our Stardoll is the main Stardoll, so why aren't the Louis Vuitton bags released in our Starplaza, too? Secondly, how did Stardoll even get permission to sell the virtual replicas in the Starplaza? Surely Louis Vuitton wouldn't allow it? There's also the possibility that, like last time, people would purchase the bags [if they were released in our Starplaza], the bags would turn in to different ones...Remember when there were the Chanel bottles, etc, and a short while later, they were changed? Let's think positive, though, guys. Fingers crossed for the LV bags to be released for us, too. Click the image below to enlarge.Okay, so they're a little expensive - from 100 stardollars to 150 - but like Isabella Arci said in her blog, Memoires of A MeDoll [click here], I'd much rather be spending my money on the Louis Vuitton bags than the Limited Edition. I must say, I crave for them. If they are released, I'm going to buy every single one. My favourite is the very last on; The 'Louis Vuitton Papillon'. I'm sort of craving them. Eek. HOWEVER, I logged on to my Chinese Stardoll account [which, I must admit, I hardly ever go on, as I can't understand a single word on there] and checked out the Starplaza to gaze at them longingly, I noticed that they weren't insight. Poof! Gone. I searched bags with the search tab, but when the results came up, they weren't there. I wonder what's going on...Do you have any ideas or opinions? - Comments are appreciated!

Hello everyone! My name's Matilda, aka Matildaxxxx. I created this blog for a few simple reasons. Firstly, I love Stardoll. I've been a member for about two years now; I joined in 2007 and was suddenly sort of addicted to it. There's so much creativity, so much to do. So much fun. I fell in love with meeting new people from all over the world and making friends, shopping, changing my MeDoll, decorating my suite, designing clothes, putting together outfits, searching for rares. There are so many options. There's no limit to what you can do, which is why I'm obsessed with Stardoll. Because there's so much going on, people created blogs [a lot of people] to write about everything. I decided I wanted a blog - My main hobby is writing. I could write all day if I had the time, but unfortunately I don't. And since Stardoll is one of my passions, one of my hobbies, one of my weaknesses, I thought that a blog would be a good way to let my two favourite hobbies merge together in one. I have a lot to write about - three main topics are fashion, gossip, style - but I'm hoping that readers enjoy my writing. I try to write in a detailed way, but I always try to be different from other writers. Basically, if you're reading this, I hope you like the blog.
